About
PowerPlanner - a learning game
PowerPlanner is a learning game for high schools about meeting electricity needs with renewable energies. The game confronts students with the following learning goals:
- Know how power consumption varies throughout the day and how fluctuations are handled.
- Know the consequences of supplying electricity from renewable forms of energy.
- Experience different types of power plant and their characteristics.
The game is designed so that in addition to attaining its learning goals it can also be flexibly integrated into the teaching schedule.
